This intensive two-day workshop equipped aspiring and emerging production managers with practical skills and hands-on experience to excel in theatre and festival settings. Participants learned to develop production plans and budgets, manage teams and stakeholders, navigate technical and logistical challenges, and build a professional portfolio and industry network.
Foundation & Systems: Participants built a strong foundation in production management, covering industry roles, career pathways, project planning, budgeting, team leadership, communication, and scheduling. Hands-on exercises, including live production simulations and peer reviews, reinforced these essential skills.
Advanced Skills & Professional Practice: Participants focused on advanced technical, logistical, and stakeholder management skills, including venue operations, health and safety, artist and client relations, festival coordination, and professional development. A live festival scenario allowed participants to apply their skills in real-time, solve challenges, and gain practical experience under expert guidance.
