Zethe is a South African artist from Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal, blending jazz, soul, and urban traditional African sounds. Her music advocates for mental health and social justice, using her powerful voice to inspire change. Based in Johannesburg, she holds a Jazz degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and has performed at the SAMAs, DSTV Delicious Festival, Durban International Film Festival, and major venues like The Durban Playhouse and Durban ICC.
She rose to prominence in 2017 as the first winner of the Vodacom Nxt Lvl competition and has appeared on TV shows including Uzalo and the SAFTA Awards. Zethe released her debut single Zazi in 2018, followed by the EP Qhawekazi, exploring healing and empowerment. Her upcoming album, Breathe, continues her mission to create music that inspires meaningful change.
