Musa Vincent Mtetwa is a South African jazz musician, keyboardist, composer, and lecturer, renowned for blending jazz with traditional African music. He has shared the stage with legends including Madala Kunene, Hugh Masekela, Caiphus Semenya, and Ladysmith Black Mambazo, performing at festivals such as the Cape Town International Jazz Festival, Joy of Jazz, Grahamstown Jazz Festival, and the Essence Festival.

Musa has toured internationally, including performances in China and at Carnegie Hall, New York, as part of the UBUNTU Festival celebrating 20 years of South African democracy. He has produced albums with the Umkhumbane Jazz Ensemble and collaborated with prominent musicians like Dr Brian Thusi, Thulani Ga Ndlela, and Mduduzi Magwaza.

A dedicated educator, Musa has lectured at COPA Academy and UKZN, nurturing emerging talent while maintaining over two decades of involvement as a musical director and keyboardist in various churches. His career spans contemporary, jazz, gospel, and traditional African music, making him a versatile and respected figure in South Africa’s music scene.
