Shef and the Kitchen is an international Act from Johannesburg in South Africa. Was founded in 2011 by the amazingly talented lead singer and charismatic performer Siphiwe Shef Hlophe. The band does their Music with original lyrics from IsiZulu, Xitsonga and English the genre is African Pop soul Funk. The name Shef and the Kitchen Music was inspired by the entire creative process of cooking music, chopping and adding all necessary ingredients to create a masterpiece. The Act is known for their electrifying performance on stage that has gained them international recognition to perform at places like India World Festival also in South Africa.
