A groundbreaking partnership between South Africa’s top arts festivals, and its leading music mobility fund, the Festival Enterprise Catalyst (FEC) empowers artists and fosters collaboration in the creative industry. Backed by the Jobs Fund, this joint initiative by major festivals and arts organisations supports, presents, and tours performance works nationwide, strengthening creative enterprises

How we work
Creative Works for Consideration
The FEC supports South African theatre and performing arts productions through a collaborative artistic committee. Works eligible for FEC support are drawn from those selected by the artistic committees of individual festivals. Concerts SA issues multiple calls for applications throughout the year.
